Priority Mail labels read only “Priority Mail” |
Priority Mail labels will now also show the estimated delivery time or special text depending on the type of delivery (APO/FPO, etc)
|
- Based on the origin and destination ZIP Codes, an estimated delivery time (1-DAY, 2-DAY or 3-DAY) will print on new Priority Mail shipping labels next to the text “Priority Mail”.
- There is no price difference based on the estimated delivery time.
- Shippers CANNOT choose between 1, 2, or 3-day delivery with regular Priority Mail; it is calculated for them automatically.
- Priority Mail delivery estimates are NOT GUARANTEED. If shippers desire a money-back guaranteed delivery timeframe, they should use Priority Mail Express service (formerly Express Mail).
- Priority Mail packages going to certain destinations will not include the estimated delivery time, but will include additional text on the label as follows:
- APO/FPO destinations will show “Priority Mail Military”
- Diplomatic destinations will show “Priority Mail DPO”
