About the Postage Log
The Postage Log—also known as the local log—is specific to the computer that you are using. The Postage Log tab includes:
- Postage transactions.
- Postage purchases.
- Mailpieces that have postage printed on them.
- Tracked mailpieces.
- Integrated marketplace store name, order ID, and post-back status. Post-back status includes: Successful, Pending Postback (if there is a delay), Failed, and Canceled.
Note: If Amazon or eBay access is not available, the post-back process might not be immediately completed. In this case, the corresponding Postage Log entry appears in an orange font and the post-back status appears as Pending. DAZzle will continue to retry posting back for approximately the next 24 hours. At this point, you could:
- Cancel the post-back retry for this order by right-clicking the entry and manually updating the order from your Amazon or eBay website, or
- Let DAZzle continue the retry attempts.
From the Postage Log tab, you can:
- Review activity.
- Search for transaction records.
- View tracking status.
- Request refunds.
- Reprint labels.
- Export shipping transaction records to tab-delimited text files or XML format files.
- Create Shipment Confirmation Acceptance Notice (SCAN) forms.
- Post-back shipment data to your database.
- Mark a web store order as unshipped (eBay only).
- Resize and sort columns.
