Use the Export command to copy, share, backup, or export selected addresses from your DAZzle Address Book. The export command creates delimited text files, which you can import into other applications, including other installations of DAZzle. If you have DAZzle Professional, you can also export addresses to XML format text files.
Steps
In the File name field, enter a filename that will help you identify the file, such as "Chris Smith addresses as of 14 February 2011".
Do not use slashes or symbols, but hyphens are OK.
Click Save.
After backing up the files, DAZzle indicates how many addresses were exported and to what file.
The text file that you exported is a backup of the addresses only, not of the Address Book. To restore the backup, create a new standalone Address Book in DAZzle and then import this text file into the new Address Book by selecting File > Import.
