Optionally, you can let DAZzle automatically select a recommended layout based on shipment types, also known as shipment characteristics. Shipment types include mail class, delivery address (domestic, international, APO/FPO, US territory), package type, printer selection, and paper selection. Automated layout selection also lets you control the default layouts to use.
For example, when you switch to another mail class, such as from First-Class Mail to Priority Mail Express, DAZzle can ask you if you want to switch to an Priority Mail Express layout, and DAZzle would switch to that layout. Otherwise, you would have to manually open the desired layout. If you prefer to manually select and open the desired layout, you can disable recommended layout selection.
If you switch to some other type of default printer, or if you want to reset the recommended layout selections to their default settings, which are based on the default printer, you can revert to those settings, also.
To use automatic layout selection, you need to enable it. For more information, see Manage Recommended Layout Settings.
