Guidelines: Using Rubber Stamps
Basic guidelines for using Rubber Stamps include:
- Each Rubber Stamp is one line only, up to 300 characters, in any font, in any rotation, and with a number of formatting options. For more information, see About Rubber Stamp Options.
- Position your Rubber Stamp text anywhere on your mailpiece using your mouse.
- Save up to 32 messages on the list, which is a most recently used list. After 32 messages are accumulated, the oldest one is dropped from the list when a new one is added.
- The Rubber Stamp messages are automatically saved in a file called STAMPS.DAT in your DAZzle directory. This file is a plain text (ASCII) file that you can edit with any text editor (for example, Microsoft Windows Notepad) to add, edit, or remove items from the list.
-
Use the # sign in the Display message field to indicate in a Rubber Stamp where to print the serialized number. If you do not enter any text in the Rubber Stamp message, DAZzle automatically inserts one # sign. To have the serial number embedded in text, enter the # sign in the location of the number, for example, the message:
Serial Number # is printed as Serial Number 23.
