The Middle Name field appears between the First Name and Last Name fields (if any) on the first line of the address. If your field only contains initials, DAZzle does not insert any periods.
The Last Name field is the last field on the first line of the address (after the First Name and Last Name fields). If you have a list with only one name field, select the Last Namefield as the mapping (or the Address Line 1 field).
Use the Full Name field when you have a field in your list that contains the complete (and correctly formatted) name of the addressee. This is the first line of the address on the envelope (or label).
Use the Last Name, First Name fields to map the name of the addressee when the field contains the complete name of the addressee, but in the Last Name, First Name format (for example, alphabetical by last name). DAZzle automatically swaps the first and last name to print the first name first.
The Company field contains the company name for the address. The company name is printed on a line by itself after the Name and Title and before the address lines.
The Address Line 1 field is the first address line after the name and title fields. If you do not have separate name and title fields, this is the first line of the address.
The Address Line 2 field follows the Address Line 1field in the address. If the Address Line 2 field is blank for an address, the Address Line 2 field is omitted.
The Address Line 3 field follows the Address Line 2 field in the address. If the Address Line 3 field is blank for an address, the Address Line 3 field is omitted.
The Address Line 4 field follows the Address Line 3 field in the address. If the Address Line 4 field is blank for an address, the Address Line 4 field is omitted.
The Address Line 5 field follows the Address Line 4 field in the address. If the Address Line 5 field is blank for an address, the Address Line 5 field is omitted.
The Address Line 6 field follows the Address Line 5 field in the address. If the Address Line 6 field is blank for an address, the Address Line 6 field is omitted.
The Address Line 7 field follows the Address Line 6 field in the address. If the Address Line 7 field is blank for an address, the Address Line 7 field is omitted.
The City field appears at the beginning of the last line of the address (if there is no Country field). Do not use this field if one of the Address Lines all ready contains the city. If you have both City and State in the same field, select the City field and do not select any State field.
The ZIP/Postal Code field follows the State field on the last (or second to last) line of the address. If you are using Dial-A-ZIP, the updated nine-digit ZIP Code appears in the ZIP/Postal Code field.
Use the ZIP+4 (only last 4) field to map to any field that carries only the last four digits of the nine-digit ZIP Code. These digits are automatically appended to the ZIP/Postal Code field (with a dash between).
Important! Do not use the ZIP+4 (only last 4) field if all nine-digits are carried in the ZIP/Postal Code field.
The Country field is always the last line of address. Do not enter USA in the Country field if it is internal US mail. Enter only foreign (non-US) countries.
The Delivery Point field is a 2-digit field that the Delivery Point Intelligent Mail barcode uses, which DAZzle creates. You should include the Delivery Point field in your lists if you are creating bulk mailings for discounts so that DAZzle can store this field. DAZzle can calculate this field automatically, but it is more reliable to store this field in your file.
The Carrier Route field is used for Carrier Route bulk mailings. You MUST include this field when printing from a list if carrier route data is required by USPS. DAZzle cannot calculate this field.
The Return Code field stores the two-digit code indicating success or failure when performing a Dial-A-ZIP verification on a US domestic delivery address. Refer to the Dial-A-ZIP section for a description of the result codes.
Use the Rubber Stamp 1-100 fields to map any fields in your address list to a Rubber Stamp on the envelope or label. After a field has been mapped to a Rubber Stamp field, you can select the Rubber Stampfield when you use Rubber Stamps on your layout.
