About Running Dial-A-ZIP from Act!

The Dial-A-ZIP from Act! is command runs Dial-A-ZIP for the all US domestic delivery addresses in the current group in Act!, from Symantec. DAZzle has a built-in interface to Act! that allows DAZzle to read (and update) addresses stored in Act! This unique interface greatly simplifies the process of running Dial-A-ZIP for an entire list (or lists) of addresses.

After selecting this command, DAZzle establishes communication with Act! and then initiates the Dial-A-ZIP process.

When using this option, remember:

Act! must already be running to use the DAZzle-Act! interface.
Even though you can use other applications during the Dial-A-ZIP process, do not edit or update records in Act! until Dial-A-ZIP has complete the processing.

DAZzle updates each address according to your Dial-A-ZIP preferences. When done, DAZzle displays a Results dialog box, which indicates:

The number of look-ups.
The number of matches.
The time of the phone call.
The look-up rate.

If the Dial-A-ZIP process is aborted or the ZIP-Station limits the addresses per phone call, DAZzle lets you reconnect to the ZIP-Station and continue verifying the list.
