Integrate DAZzle with Act! from Symantec

DAZzle includes an interface to Act! from Symantec. Using DDE, DAZzle can pass data back and forth between Act! and DAZzle. Because this interface is built into DAZzle, no intervention is required to use these features.

Important! For any of the following options to work, Act! (version 2.0 or version 3.0) must be running. DAZzle automatically detects when Act! version 2.0 or Act! version 3.0 is running.

The DAZzle—Act! commands are:

File > Print From > Act!: Prints all names in the current Act! group using the current DAZzle Layout.
Layout > Dial-A-ZIP from > Act!: Runs Dial-A-ZIP on US domestic delivery addresses in the current Act! group.
Edit > Paste From > Act!: Copies the current address from Act! into the delivery address area of DAZzle Professional.

You can customized Act! to add a DAZzle button on the toolbar that launches DAZzle and provides options to print or run Dial-A-ZIP. For details see Install DAZzle in Act!l or Install DAZzle in Act! version 3.0.
