About the Registered Mail Tab

On the Registered Mail tab, you can specify whether to use the Registered Mail service. Registered Mail provides you with high security handling and delivery, higher levels of insurance, a mailing receipt, and a delivery record.

You can combine Registered Mail with other services, such as Signature Confirmation or Return Receipt. Certain restrictions apply. For the most up-to-date and complete domestic and international mailing information, see the USPS website, the USPS Postal Explorer website, or your USPS postal representative.

Registered Mail includes US Postal Service insurance, so additional insurance is not required.

Note: Any mailpiece or shipment using the Registered Mail Extra Service that has an Endicia label with an IMpb (Intelligent Mail package barcode) also requires the red generic USPS Label 200N. Label 200N is a non-barcoded label that has replaced the barcoded Label 200. You can obtain these labels from the USPS or the Endicia web store.
