On the Signature Confirmation tab, you can specify whether to require the recipient to sign a receipt upon delivery of your mailpiece. The Signature Confirmation service provides you the date and time of delivery or attempted delivery, if not successful. The US Postal Service maintains the delivery record, including the recipient signature.
