Set Up Tracking Service Automation

You can set up Endicia Professional to recognize USPS tracking service codes, such as USPS Tracking, E-DelCon, and Signature Confirmation, from your database and automatically change to the desired USPS tracking service. The use of tracking service automation codes is optional.

You can create more than one tracking service code for the same USPS tracking service. For example, in your database two codes could cause Endicia Professional to enable the USPS Tracking, such as DC and USPS-DC.

Steps

  1. On the Package Details tab of the Order Lookup Data Map window, the Batch Print Data Map window, connect (map) a field from your database to the Endicia Professional Tracking Type field.
  2. To the right of the Tracking Type field, click the Edit Tracking Codes button.
  3. The Edit Tracking Service Codes window appears.

  4. To add a tracking service code, select a tracking service from the list in the lower part of the window.
  5. In the if database field value equals field, enter your code for that tracking service.
  6. Click Add.
  7. Repeat the Steps 2 through 5 to add as many tracking service codes that you need.
  8. Click OK.

Optionally, you can set up data post-back, which lets you to get updated shipment data back into your database after you print labels.
