If you already have an Endicia Premium service plan account,
Endicia Professional will automatically start a 30-day demo period with full features, after which you must upgrade your account to an Endicia Professional account.
If you already have an Endicia Standard service plan account,
you must upgrade to an Endicia Professional account before trying Endicia Professional because the Endicia Standard account does not include the DAZzle XML interface, which Endicia Professional uses for printing labels.
Endicia DAZzle is a label and postage printing application, which by default is included with the Endicia Professional Suite download and installation process. Familiarize yourself with DAZzle so that you are comfortable selecting label layouts and setting up your printer. Print some labels using the Test Print button on the DAZzle Print dialog box. (Test prints do not use postage, so the funds in your postage account are not affected.) For more details, see the DAZzle Label Layouts section.
Using OLE-DB, Endicia Professional can natively connect to Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visual FoxPro, and CSV text files. However, if you have some other database type or you use only an ODBC data source, you may be able to use ODBC to connect Endicia Professional. If you use ODBC, you must create an ODBC Data Source Name (DSN) for your database before creating a connection to that database.
