Enter Static Field Values in Posting Back Data

Endicia Professional can write fixed data with each post-back action that it performs. For example, you can link a status field in your post-back table to the RubberStamp1 field, and then in the Edit Static Field Values dialog box, enter SHIPPED in the RubberStamp1 field. Endicia Professional will write the text SHIPPED to the status for each record posted back.

Steps

  1. Select Tools > Post Back Data.

    2. The Post-Back dialog box appears.

  2. Select Options.

    3. The Post-Back Options dialog box appears.

  3. Click the Edit Post-Back Fixed Data button.

    4. The Edit Post-Back Fixed Data dialog box appears.

  4. Enter the value in the appropriate Rubber Stamp field.

    The following example may vary according to your setup and version.

    5. The Edit Post-Back Fixed Data dialog box shows fields for description and Rubber Stamp 1 through 5. In the lower part of the Edit Post-Back Fixed Data dialog box are OK and Cancel buttons.

  5. Click OK twice to return to the Post-Back dialog box.
  6. Click the Close button to close the Post-Back dialog box.
