This could happen if you follow security practices to change your Pass Phrase from time to time, or you closed your account and opened a new account with a new Pass Phrase.
This setting lets you track postage printed by projects or departments. You can then use the Account Transactions Report to track expenses by Reference ID. If enabled, the Reference ID field appears on the main window.
This setting enhances your ability to track postage printed.
Steps
Select Account > Preferences.
The Account Preferences dialog box appears.
To set up your account:
Enter your Account Number.
Enter your Pass Phrase.
Optionally, select Make Pass Phrase visible to display the Pass Phrase rather than dots.
Optionally, select Remember Pass Phrase to have the system remember your Pass Phrase every time you log in to Printable Postage.
To set the Postage Warning Limit:
In the Postage Warning Limit area, select Confirm printing when postage exceeds total.
Select an amount from the list.
To set the optional Reference ID settings:
Select the Enable Reference ID check box.
If you have selected the Enable Reference ID check box, select the Require Reference ID when printing check box to always require entry of a Reference ID for each postage print.
