Change Your Pass Phrase

A Pass Phrase is similar to a password. The software uses both your Pass Phrase and your account number to log in to your postage account each time that you start the application. For more information, see About Pass Phrases and Internet Passwords.

You can change your Pass Phrase whenever necessary to protect the security and privacy of your account. It is suggested that you change your Pass Phrase at least every 90 days. Note that you cannot use the previous four Pass Phrases.

Steps

  1. Select Account > Preferences.
  2. Click the Change Pass Phrase button.
  3. Enter your current Pass Phrase.
  4. Enter your new Pass Phrase twice .

  5. Optionally, select Save Pass Phrase, which automatically logs you in when you start the application.
  6. Click OK.

    You will receive a confirmation message when your Pass Phrase has been successfully changed.
