September 2017 USPS Rate Change

The Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) has approved new First-Class Mail Parcel retail rates proposed by the USPS(R). Starting September 3, 2017, the new retail rate for a First-Class Package weighing up to 4 oz. will increase from $2.67 to $3.00, with the amount for each additional ounce over 4 oz. being $0.16.

Please note, this rate increase is affecting stamps and labels only when you select the “retail price” when sending First-Class Packages. No other mailing/shipping service will see a price increase at this time.

No action is required by you. Endicia will update the new rates automatically.

As a reminder, discounted Commercial Base Pricing (CBP) is available for First-Class packages when the “retail price” box is not selected.
