Verify Addresses Through the Batch Print Tab
On the Batch Print tab, you can verify addresses in the following ways:
- Click the Retrieve Orders button. A message box asks you if you would like to verify addresses. If you are importing integrated web store orders, see Import Web Store Shipping Orders.
- Select one, a contiguous range, or multiple non-contiguous records, and then click the Verify Address button.
The Status column indicates the results of address verification by color and by text.
By color, the status of address verification for each record follows:
- Precise address match.
- International address.
- Default address match: A matching address was found, but more data, such as a suite or apartment number, would offer a more precise match.
- The street address does not exist: The street address is not in the USPS database.
- Could not match street address: The street address is not in the USPS database.
- Unverified address: Address of record has not been verified.
- Non-deliverable street address: This address is marked as non-deliverable in the USPS database.
- Multiple matches, too ambiguous: The address matches multiple entries in the USPS database.
- Incomplete customs line: At least one complete customs line is required. If a line has any data in it, all the fields must be complete.
- Package value must match total customs value: The package value must match the total of the values in the customs lines.
- Package weight is less than customs weight: The package weight must be greater than or equal to the total of the weights in the customs lines.
- Package weight is zero: The package must have a weight.
- Package value is zero: For customs the package must have a value declared.
