Turn Off Optional Services Fee Printing
To prevent being charged for optional services that incur fees that you might not always require, you can specify whether to always turn off optional services after each label printing. You can turn off all optional services, or you can select specific optional services to turn off. Examples of optional services that incur fees include: insurance, COD, Registered Mail, Certified Mail, Adult Signature Required, Adult Signature Restricted, and Priority Mail Express Sunday/Holiday Delivery.
- Note: The setup or changes that you make in the following Steps apply only to the current profile.
Steps
- If you are using profiles, verify that you have selected the correct profile: On the Order Lookup tab or the Batch Print tab, in the Active Profile field, view or select the desired profile.
- Select Edit > Preferences.
- Select the Mail Class and Services tab.
- In the Services area, clear the following check boxes to:
- Turn off all extra fee optional services after each label print.
- Note: This setting applies to all optional services that incur a fee and overrides the following settings.
- Turn off insurance after each label print.
- Turn off COD after each label print.
- Click OK.
