About Using Postage Label Rolls
Some guidelines to remember when using DYMO Stamps Postage Labels, which are rolls of postage stamp labels, include:
- Postage must be printed on USPS-approved postage label rolls. These labels are specially treated to be recognized by the US Postal Service scanners. See Buy Postage Labels or Postage Sheets for more information about purchasing these labels.
- Postage printed with the software is not date sensitive. You can print postage today and use the postage any time in the future. If the postal rates change, just print an additional postage label to bring the total postage to that required for your mailpiece.
- DYMO Stamps Postage Labels are direct thermal labels, so printed postage should be stored out of direct sunlight.
- Effective September 30, 2011, refunds are available for postage stamps that are printed in error. See About Refund Requirements.
