Verify Data Post-Back

The data post-back feature updates your database with shipment data, such as tracking data. You should verify the data post-back feature by printing a test label and manually posting it back to your database.

Before you verify the data post-back feature, you must do the following:

Select a default shipping label for the mail class that you want to test print. For more information, see Specify Default Label Layouts for Mail Classes.
Set up a test shipping transaction in your database that includes an order number and a shipping address. To perform the test, you need the order number from the test shipping transaction. For more information, see Verify the Retrieval of Shipping Addresses from Your Database.

Steps

Display a shipping address:
1. On the Order Lookup tab, enter an order number in the Order Number field.
2. Click the Retrieve Order button.
  The shipping address appears.
Select File > Test Print Label.
