Create a SCAN Form

The Shipment Confirmation Acceptance Notice (SCAN) form consolidates a day's trackable shipments onto a barcoded form that the USPS representative scans when the USPS physically accepts your daily shipments. The SCAN form eliminates the need for the USPS to scan each shipping label, which could otherwise amount to dozens, hundreds, or thousands of separate scans. The SCAN form feature is available to all Premium and higher service plan accounts.

Steps

  1. Log in to your Endicia online account.

  2. From the My Account tab, select Tools > Create SCAN Form.

    The system automatically displays the report with all mailpieces selected.

  3. Clear the check box of each mailpiece that you want to exclude.
  4. Click the Continue SCAN Request button.

    The system creates the SCAN Form with your shipper name, package count, and single barcode.

  5. Print your report: Select File > Print.
